Information the public site records
The site records page views and classified link actions so Vexyl Labs can understand which guides, install paths, and campaigns are useful. These events may include the page path, campaign parameters, referring website hostname, destination category, a random browser-session identifier, and the event time.
The service stores one-way hashes of the session identifier, request IP address, and browser user-agent string. It does not use this data to store raw browsing history, keystrokes, server logs, or the contents of files on your device. The site uses browser session storage for campaign attribution and does not set an advertising cookie for this tracking.
Accounts, billing, and email
If you start a support plan or access an account, Vexyl Labs processes the email address, organization name, plan, subscription status, checkout reference, and account-access events needed to provide that service. Lemon Squeezy processes checkout and payment information under its own privacy terms. Vexyl Labs does not receive or store full payment-card numbers.
Transactional email delivery and delivery status may be processed through Resend. If you follow the Vexyl Guard Operator Notes newsletter on LinkedIn, LinkedIn controls that subscription under its own terms.
Support, security, and agent data
Information you deliberately send in a GitHub issue, email, or support request is used to respond, diagnose problems, and improve the project. Public GitHub content is public. Review every attachment before submitting it.
The public Vexyl Guard host agent operates locally. Hosted event ingestion is optional and requires explicit configuration. Vexyl Labs does not claim ownership of customer server data. Avoid sending raw logs, credentials, private keys, tokens, or personal data that are not needed for support.
Public supporter profiles
A supporter name, profile image, and link appear on the public supporter wall only when the supporter opts in. An opt-in can be withdrawn by contacting Vexyl Labs.
Retention, protection, and disclosure
Information is retained only as long as reasonably needed to operate accounts, maintain financial records, investigate security issues, measure product adoption, and meet legal obligations. Access is limited to operational needs. No internet service can promise absolute security.
Vexyl Labs does not sell personal information. Information may be shared with service providers that operate the site, payments, email, and source hosting; when required by law; or when necessary to protect users, the service, and the public.
Your choices
You may avoid campaign tracking by visiting without campaign parameters and clearing browser session storage. You may use the open-source agent without buying a support plan. For access, correction, deletion, or supporter-wall requests, email [email protected]. Security reports should go to [email protected].
Changes to this notice
Material changes will be published on this page with a new effective date. This notice describes current product operations; it is not a promise that every optional service will remain available forever.
